Doran and her husband Michael of Hyde Park, and Michael P. McSheffrey of Dedham. Grandmother of Robert, Nicole, David, Elizabeth, Susan, Meghan, Kevin, Daniel, and Tara. Great-grandmother of William, Mason, Annalisa, Andrew, Jack, and Oliver. Sister of Kathleen O’Brien, Theresa DeSalvo, and Philomena Hickey. Pre-deceased by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Susan was a welcoming host and all who entered her home were greeted with warmth, kindness, a cup of tea, and a slice of her famous Irish Bread. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her extended family.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Wednesday, Dec. 26 from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home Thursday, Dec. 27 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Susan’s memory to St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham, MA 02026.
