In Taunton, December 19, 2018, Dorothy E. (Simpson) Rose, Age 95, passed away in Marian Manor Nursing home following a period of declining health. Dorothy was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Lewis & Susan (Kelly) Simpson. Dorothy had resided most of her life in Taunton. She was educated in Taunton schools. Dorothy had worked as an assembler at the former Augut Company in Taunton. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, watching television shows, her cat “Patches” and spending time with family. Dorothy was the last surviving sibling of twelve. She also leaves her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be held at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton on Friday, December 28th at 10am. Visiting hours are kindly omitted and arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
