Daniel R. Goodwin, 28, of Halifax died Wednesday December 19th in New Hampshire where he was temporarily residing. Born in Providence Rhode Island in 1990, a lifelong resident of Halifax, Ma., with temporary residences in Texas, Florida, California and finally New Hampshire. Son to Robert A. Goodwin and Tina M. (Smolinsky) Goodwin, Brother to Haylee M. Goodwin and Lindsey A. Goodwin, both of Halifax, Ma.
Dan attended multiple High Schools on the South Shore, including SLRHS, Whitman-Hanson HS and South Shore Charter School in Norwell, Massachusetts. He received his GED a year before graduation.
He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and best friend to many. He loved everyone he met, to a fault, but couldn’t love himself, as much as we loved him.
Dan loved music! Britney, Lady Ga Ga, Mariah, Miley, Ariana, Cher, Whitney, Hilary, Pink, Katy Perry, and every other young female pop artist. Dancing, of course was his “thing”.
Dan loved his family more than anything, if love could have saved him, he would have lived forever. Rest now my son.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 27th, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Funeral Service to follow at 7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman.
