Mrs. Essie Jewell Craft, beloved wife of the late Fred Earl Craft, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Parkway Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Craft was a member of Parkway Baptist and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her son; Michael Craft (Judy), her daughters; Brenda Waldrop (Preston) and Linda Rogers (Rodney), her grandchildren; Kristen Thornton (Alan), Kimberly Harris (David), Kayla Duncan (Daniel), David Craft, Erika Craft (Will Anders), Ashley Harriott (Jerry), Brittney Fulcher (Beau) and Andrew Rogers, her great grandchildren; Emma, Reilly, Barrett and Christian Thornton, Peyton and Cole Harris, Jase and Easton Duncan, Bentley and Brody Harriott, and Greyson and Mason Fulcher. She is also survived by her brothers; Billy Bishop and Buddy Bishop and a sister, Clois Brannon.
Pallbearers will be David Harris, Daniel Duncan, Alan Thornton, David Craft, Jerry Harriott and Beau Fulcher.
The family will receive friends at the Platt’s Belair Road Chapel on Friday evening, December 21, 2018 from 6:30 until 8:30 PM.
