Eileen M. Landry, 63, of Brockton, died December 19, 2018 unexpectedly at home.
Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Joseph R. and Marcella C. (Donnewald) Landry, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Brockton 2 years ago.
She was formerly employed at Paul A. Dever School and later was a residential councilor for the Department of Mental Retardation with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts until her retirement.
Eileen was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to Foxwoods.
Survivors include her son, Timothy J. Landry of New Bedford; 3 brothers, Phillip Landry and his wife Claire of New Bedford, John Landry and his wife Joyce of North Dighton and Roger Landry of New Bedford; a sister, Kathleen Caban of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Nathan A. Landry and Timothy J. Landry, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her private arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
