Phyllis M. (Butcher) Green, 91, of Fairhaven died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 peacefully at Our Lady's Haven surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John M. Green.
She was born September 7, 1927 in Somerford Keynes, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England to the late Henry and Emily (Radway) Butcher.
Phyllis enjoyed knitting, painting, ceramics and spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children, Sandra Fernandes and her husband Robert of Pawtucket, RI, Pamela Matthews and her husband W.D., Michael Green and his wife Um Chon, all of Millington, TN, and Debra Shrader and her husband Captain Ronald Shrader of Fairhaven; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Green King; her best friend, Helen Gajewski; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Diana Lee Sherman and her grandson, Richard Green.
