Michael I. Waldrip
Electronics Technician for Zoll Medical Company
TEWKSBURY: Michael I. Waldrip, age 61, a Tewksbury resident for over 30 years, passed away unexpectedly at the Lowell General Hospital from an apparent heart related condition on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Roberta J. (Forward) Waldrip, with whom he celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on August 29, 2018.
Born in Saugus on May 15, 1957, he was the son of the late Walter I. Waldrip and the late Marie H. (Larken) Waldrip.
Mike was raised in Saugus. He attended Saugus schools and graduated from Northeast Metro Technical High School.
He was employed by the Zoll Medical Company, where he worked as an Electronics Technician.
Mike enjoyed outdoor activities especially hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and pitching horseshoes.
In addition to his wife, Roberta, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica J. Waldrip of Tewksbury; two brothers, Alan Waldrip and his wife Susan of Hampstead, NH, and Scott Waldrip and his wife Susan of Newburyport; two nieces, Rachel Copeland and her husband Joe, and Brittany Waldrip and her fiancé Josh; one nephew, Kyle Waldrip; also many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Calling Hours on Friday, Dec. 21, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. At the request of the family there are No Funeral Services. Please Omit Flowers.
