NEW BEDFORD… Shirley A. (Levesque) Shurtleff, 64, of New Bedford passed away December 15, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
She was the widow of Leonard E. Shurtleff to whom she was married for 42 years.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Levesque and Pauline (Delphin) Vieira and had lived in New Bedford since 2013.
Mrs. Shurtleff graduated from Stonehill College with an Associates Degree in Business. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting and ceramics.
She is survived by her son: Bryan G. Shurtleff and his companion Curt J. Mohan of New Bedford; her sister: Stacey Alves of Fall River; her brother: Scott Vieira of West Warwick, RI; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 7:45 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 – 7:45 PM, prior to the service. Cremation will follow.
