FALL RIVER… Jane Kosior,70, of Fall River passed away, Sunday, December 16, 2018.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late John FRFD and Eleanor (Bednarz) Kosior and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
She was employed as a Mental Health Counselor with the Fellowship Program.
Ms. Kosior earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Fitchburg State in 1970.
Jane enjoyed driving her car all over New England especially to Plymouth and Provincetown for the beaches and ocean and she loved the scent of the piney forest of Myles Standish. She enjoyed going to restaurants to eat out. She was known for being the most caring, generous, supportive and loving, aunt, sister and friend.
Survivors include a brother: John Kosior and his companion Nancy Silvia of Fall River; a sister: Teresa Barretto and her husband Joseph of Portsmouth; 4 nieces and nephews: Susan Medeiros and her husband Chris, Jane Amaral and her companion Wayne Wolsey, Jonathan Barretto, and Elisia Barretto; several great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday December 22, 2018 9:00 A.M. at BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland St., Fall River. Calling hours Friday 4 – 8 P.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation in Jane’s name can be made to a charity of your choice.
