Angelle Stone Adams, 92, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, December 17, 2018, at Sunrise of Johns Creek, in Johns Creek, Georgia.
Funeral services will he held 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 12:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adams was born April 22, 1926, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Roland O. & Daisy Reece Stone. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Mrs. Adams was a legal secretary for McDonald and Mills Law Firm, a Pink Lady, a member of the Wiregrass Quilters Guild, a member of the Green Thumb Garden Club and a flower show judge. She was also an accomplished piano player. Mrs. Adams was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Carol Adams of Duluth and Dale & Alan Golden of Braselton; grandchildren: Reid Golden & Stacy and Ben Golden & Jackie; great-grandchildren: Maelyn Dale Golden, Cale Golden, Clara Jane Golden, Reece Golden and Teddy Golden and a sister, Emilie & Fred Carswell of Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Baney Reid Adams and a sister, Dorothy Reeves.
