Obituary

Kayla Jean McQuarrie, 28, of Manchester NH passed away on Sunday, December 16th at her residence. Kayla was born August 22, 1990 in Manchester, a daughter of Jacqueline (Jolin) McQuarrie and Bradley J McQuarrie. Kayla graduated with the Class of 2009 from Londonderry High, where she grew up and was an All Star Lacrosse athlete. Kayla attended Northern Essex. Community College and currently enrolled at SNHU for her Bachelor’s in psychology to be a LADC. Kayla was not just intelligent and beautiful, she was talented in multiple arts. Kayla’s artistic visions took her ability with a camera to the lengths of her own photography business. Kayla’s one of those souls that could take anything and make it beautiful. Kayla’s passion was in mixed media art. Not only was her art the best gift you could get, but so desired she started selling her works of art on Etsy as well as at a couple local businesses.

In addition to her parents, Kayla is also survived by her brother, Brady J. McQuarrie of Londonderry, maternal grandmother Sandra Taylor-Cassidy of Londonderry, maternal grandfather, Ronald E. Jolin of Chester, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Dana and Marie McQuarrie, step grandfather, Joseph Cassidy in October and her life partner, Melissa M Dumont in November.

Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 5 - 7 pm with a celebration of that followed at 7 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA or to a charity of one’s choice.
