Michael Eugene Quarles, age 58, of Coffeeville, MS died peacefully Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his home. He was born February 9, 1960 in Chicago, IL. to the late Alvin and Annie Ruth Quarles and worked for himself as a small engine repair man. He enjoyed cooking, watching Gunsmoke, but nothing compared to the love that he had for his family. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Coffeeville.
Visitation is planned for Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS. from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Services will begin at 1:00 PM with Bro. Elbert McKnight officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Michael (Bo) Quarles, Joe Clendenon, Doug Nichols, John Nichols, Joe Hill, Larry Holloway, Jim Caulder, Hunter Guy and Jimmy Smith all serving as pallbearers.
Michael is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dorothy Quarles of Coffeeville, MS; two daughters, Christine Clendenon (Joe) and Deanna Quarles; one son, Michael Quarles; two grandchildren, all of Coffeeville, MS; two sisters, Debbie Fitzgerald of Brandon, MS; and Teresa Tillman (Clarence) of Poplarville, MS.
Along with his parents, Michael was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Quarles and Thomas Quarles.
