Therese L. (Gosselin) Crombleholme, 94, of New Bedford, formerly of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away Saturday December 15, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Happily married to the late William J. Crombleholme for 49 years until his death in 1994, she is survived and will be deeply missed by son, William R. Crombleholme, of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Catherine Travers and her spouse, Richard, of New Bedford; son Timothy Crombleholme and his spouse, Peg, of Dallas, TX, and daughter, Megan O’Neill and her spouse, William, of Weymouth.
She leaves behind eight beautiful grandchildren: Christopher, Jonathan and Daniel Travers; Caitlin, Hayley and Kye Crombleholme; and Matthew and Molly O’Neill; one wonderful great-grandchild, Noah Travers and a loving niece, Maggie Keefe.
Therese lived most of her life in New Bedford where she worked for many years at the Star Store in the housewares department while caring for her family. In 1992, she moved with her husband to Lady Lake, Florida where she enjoyed 25 years of sunshine before returning in June of this year to live out the rest of her days with her daughter Cathy and her husband back in the city of her birth.
Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 10 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday December 18th from 4-7 PM.
