Patricia A. "Patti" (White) Lapointe, a 45 year resident of Everett and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on December 14, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 65 years of age.
Patti was born at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia on February 4, 1953, a daughter of the late Edwin J. White and Marjorie E. "Dolly" (Potter) White. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School System and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1972. Patti worked for the Teamsters Local #25 as a purchasing and sales agent for 24 years. Patti was an avid supporter for Autism Speaks, the Blood Bank, and Toys for Tots thru the Teamsters Union Local # 25. She enjoyed playing golf and walking. She loved her two dogs, Gus and Bella.
Patti is the beloved wife of 46 years to Richard P. "Rick" Lapointe. She is the devoted mother of Stacie J. Maria and her husband John and Richard G. Lapointe. She is the loving NaiNai to Julia Maria and Devin Lapointe. She is the beloved twin sister of Edwin J. White Jr. and beloved sister of Marjorie Newhook and her husband George, and James White and his wife Kerry. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Patti's Funeral on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Her visiting hours will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
