NATICK: James G. “Jimmy” Norman, 56, died peacefully surrounded by his family at his Natick residence on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 following a 7-month battle with cancer.
He was born in Natick on March 4, 1962 the son of Edna G. (Guy) Norman of Natick and the late William J. Norman, Jr who died in 2013.
Besides his mother, Jimmy is survived by his beloved children, Christopher J. Norman of West Boylston and Amanda N. Norman and her fiancé Timothy Chapman of Natick. He was the brother of Janice Viveiros of Natick and uncle of Julie A. Viveiros of Natick and Chrissy L. Viveiros and her husband Matthew Ryeberg of Natick. Jimmy was the proud grandfather of Olivia C. Chapman of Natick.
Jimmy has been a lifelong resident of Natick and graduated from Natick High School with the Class of 1980. For many years, he has been a construction worker throughout the Metrowest area before retiring.
He loved football especially the New England Patriots and his passion was fishing and Lake Cochituate was one of his favorite spots to do so. He enjoyed working, tinkering and repairing automobiles and loved motorcycles. He enjoyed the time spent with family and friends and a good game of cribbage or other card cards. Jimmy will be fondly remembered and loved by his family and the many lives that he touched in his 56 years.
Visitations will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home.
His Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 at the funeral home followed by interment in Dell Park Cemetery, Pond Street, Natick.
