Loretta Grace Dalton, a resident of Woburn, formerly of Palmer, passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. She was 79 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 2, 1939, she was the beloved daughter of the late Hubert and Germaine (Lalonde) Dalton. Ms. Dalton was a resident of the Monson Developmental Center in Palmer, for many years. She then resided in Woburn at the Northeast Regional Residential Services Center. Loretta loved listing to music, attending parties and going to NuPath Inc. in Woburn, daily. Loretta loved being with her friends and her family. She especially enjoed her visits with her grand-nephew, Daniel O'Donnell. She will be dearly missed.
Loretta is survived by her two loving sisters; Carol A. Flannery of Quincy and Virginia Dodwell of Peabody and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was also the sister-in-law of the late Robert A. Flannery and Thomas G. Dodwell.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett, on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Entombment will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Medford.
