HURLEY, Glenn J. of West Roxbury and Popponesset Beach died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 12, 2018. Beloved husband of Maryellen (Daly). Loving father of Lauren M. Hurley and her husband Billy McCallum of Squantum and Michael G. Hurley of Weymouth. Cherished brother of Maureen A. Holland and her husband John of Foxboro and Denise M. Peterson and her husband William of Mashpee. Glenn is also survived by a large devoted family and friends. Glenn was a longtime employee of Boston Gas and proud union member of Local 12003. He was a late U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa of Avilla Church at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Interment private.
