Hernan, William H., age 90, of Dedham, formerly of Jamaica Plain, on December 10, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Joan (Eldracher). Loving Uncle of Judy Hernan, Beth Hernan Malone and her husband Robert of West Roxbury. Loving father to his step-daughter Deborah Pelosi of Rhode Island and her husband Steve and his three grandsons, Derek, Kevin and Christopher. Also survived by Jim Hernan, Robert Brown, David Brown, Janet Calzini, Christine Warren and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his step-daughter Beverly Haydon and step-son, Kenneth Brown, his parents Anna and Hugh Hernan, his brother James and his sisters, Joan McLaughlin Chaperone, Helen Murphy, Mary Murphy and Betty Tracy. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Thursday December 13 from 8:30 until 10:30 am. followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 14 Montebello Rd. Jamaica Plain at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Bill was a parachutist in the US Army and also served in the US Navy he was a longtime friend of Bill W. Bill spent his last year of life at the Deutsches Altenheim German Center in West Roxbury where he enjoyed singing as well as other activities.
