Doris E. Nirmaier, 87, of Audubon, PA, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018, in Shannondell at Valley Forge following a period of declining health. She was born in New York, NY on May 17, 1931, the only child of the late Wilhelm and Elsbeth (Kunkele) Claren. Doris grew up in New York, and lived in Texas and Pennsylvania before settling in Londonderry where she lived for over 35 years. She was an avid tennis player, loved hiking, and traveled extensively with her beloved husband Carl. Doris loved to cook and greatly enjoyed having family gatherings.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Neese, Vicki Kroc and Laura Houde; son, Bill Nirmaier, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Peabody Funeral Homes of Londonderry, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Burial will follow at 11:30 am in Mt.
