Margaret Ellen (Green) Hains passed peacefully December 3, 2018.
She was born on Friday, August 13, 1935 to Virgil and Lillian Green of Elwood. She had a wonderful and loving childhood with six brothers and a sister and graduated from Wendell Wilkie High School in 1952.
She married Bill Hains on August 4, 1956. Together they founded and grew Mofab Incorporated and lovingly raised four children. She loved hosting gatherings at her homes in Anderson, at the lake and in Florida for games and good times.
Margaret blessed everyone's life she touched. She was the best friend and favorite Aunt and finally favorite patient to so many people. She was always ready to listen and help in anyway she could.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Hains, daughter, Lorraine Hains, sons, Robert (Sherry), Max, (Cathy), Bruce (Lydia) Hains; eight grandchildren, Rob Ewing, Nykx Diggle, Hayley and Tanner Smith, Max, Mason and Mark Hains, Anthony Smith and five and 7/ 8, great grandchildren; brothers, Jack, Don and Bill Green, her sister, Betty King and many more special friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Robert, Ray and Max Green; son-in-law, Brant Smith, daughter-in-law, Sharon Hains and grandson Thomas Smith.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers and friends that helped care for her over the years. Your thoughtfulness and love was appreciated very much.
Service will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with burial following at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be given to NOMMA Education Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
