EVANS, Elaine P. (Conlon) of Naples Florida, formerly of Roslindale passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 2, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Rosemayer) Conlon. Beloved wife of the late George F. Evans with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Loving mother of Patrick and his wife Lynne Evans of Foxboro, MA, Christene Gillis and her husband Mark of Irmo, SC, George F. Evans, Jr. of Sharon, MA and the late Michelle M. Evans of Fall River, MA. Devoted grandmother of Jonathan and Meaghan Gillis of Irmo, SC, Alannah Evans of Norwood, MA and the late Matthew J. Gillis. Great-grandmother of Landon George of Irmo SC. Sister of Carol Robinson and her late husband Edward of West Grove, PA, Geraldine and Her husband Peter Callaghan of Hanover, MA and Joseph and Mary Conlon of Norwood, MA. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. After many years working for the Boston Public School System Elaine retired to Naples, FL. with her beloved husband George. Visiting hours will be held in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa of Avilla Church at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
