Betty Louise (Bunch) Loyd, 85, of Anderson died November 28, 2018 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born October 9, 1933, in Anderson, the daughter of Roy A. and Merle (Rainer) Bunch.
Betty worked production at Delco Remy in Plant 11 for 30 years before retiring.
She loved fishing with her cane pole, camping and travelling with her family. She especially loved her girl trips with her daughter and granddaughter, and going to the lakes with her son. Betty loved being with her family above all else. She was a warm, sweet, loving mother and grandmother and loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita (John) Wilson; son, Roy Jeffers, adopted sons, John Jeffers and Berry Danforth; brother, Phillip (Patricia) Bunch; grandchildren, Daniel (Janna) Butler, Tracie (Steve) Ellis; Veronica (Steve) Leka, Lisa Wilson, Brian Danforth and Joe Danforth; several step-grandchildren; great grandchildren, Brandon (Ann) Hope, Taylor (Clayton) Butler, Blake (Heaven) Ellis, Kierra Ellis, Andrew (Lauren) Mills, Christopher Mills, Megan (Lizzy) Espinoza and Parker Duckett; several step-great-grandchildren , great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins, uncle LeRoy Vail.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Community Hospital of Anderson, Providence Rehabilitation facility for their compassionate care and Jenny Waymire for her visits with prayer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Animal Protection League.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Loyd; father, Roy Bunch, her mother and step-father, Merle and Joseph Etchison, two stepsons, Charles and Michael Loyd; step-daughter, Beverly Slayton and grandson, Daniel Morrison.
Service will be 1 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Richard True officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
