Mary K. (Lane) Dubois, 65, of New Bedford died peacefully at home on Saturday November 24th. She was the beloved wife of the late Gary Dubois, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Taunton, the daughter the late John and Mary Lane, she lived in New Bedford for most of her adult life. Mary graduated from UMass Amherst and got her masters at Bridgewater State College. She was employed as an educator for her whole career and enjoyed teaching adults.
Mary was known for her thoughtfulness. She is survived by children, Dr. Katherine Dubois of Seattle, WA and Colin Dubois of Hartford, CT; her sister Anne O'Connor of Dighton; her brother Tom Lane of Taunton; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 2nd at 11:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her family will receive visitors from 10-11:30 AM prior to the service.
