FALL RIVER - Dorothy “Nana” (Medeiros) Wing, 88, of 100 Amity St., formerly of 410 Belmont St. Fall River, died Friday in Fall River at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Mother of Robert J. Wing and Thomas J. Wing both of Swansea. Grandmother of Beverly Vickery Andrews, Charles Vickery, William Vickery, and Robert Wing Jr. Great grandmother of Tanner William Vickery, Bryce Aaron Vickery, Justin Andrews, and Elise Faith Wing. Sister of Frank Medeiros, Joseph Medeiros, Antone Medeiros, Mary Soares, and Irene Correia all of Fall River, and several nieces & nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Alicia Marie Wing and Jennee Faith Wing. She was the sister of the late Manuel, Edward, & August Medeiros.
Born in St. Michael, Azores the daughter of the late Frank Santos Medeiros and the late Maria (Costa) Medeiros. She was a resident of Fall River for all of her life and was a homemaker at home. She had been a member of St. Michael’s Church.
Her Funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 North Main Street on Tuesday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday 5-8 P.M.
