Elizabeth " Betty" Colby, 78 passed away peacefully on November 22, 2018.
Betty was a lifelong resident of Brockton and worked at King's and Ashmont Department stores before retiring to take care of her grandchildren.
She enjoyed reading, gardening and cooking for the holidays. She especially liked dancing and her favorite song to dance to was “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Robert, daughter Michelle Brewer, stepchildren Susan Barnes, Joseph, Jeffrey and Brenda Colby, grandchildren Matthew and Katie Brewer, her sister Helen Buckler and brother Ralph Wise. Betty was predeceased by her parents Albert and Helen (Benoit) Wise and brothers Edmund, Ralph and Neil.
