LIMERICK- Myles Everett Garland, 29, went home to be with his Savior on Nov. 24 2018, one day before his 30th birthday at his home. Though Myles struggled with substance abuse during his lifetime, we are grateful to God that there is no evidence of relapse being the cause of his passing. God desired him, it was just his time.
Myles was born the day after Thanksgiving, November 25, 1988 at Maine Medical Center, the only child of the late David Myles Garland and Sandra Estrella Garland-Plummer. Myles graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 2007 and attended Wyotech in Blairsville PA.
Myles was married to the love of his life Kelsey Kay Harris on September 1, 2018 in a beautiful ceremony at Kezar Falls Assembly of God, where they are members.
Myles began his work career at Shaw Brothers Construction as a laborer and eventually a heavy equipment operator. He was a foreman at WP Davis Excavation and currently a Construction Inspector at Construction Services and Inspection.
Myles along with his bride, Kelsey, was an avid fisherman, They loved panning for gold at Coos Canyon, 4 Wheeling and their horse Keedie along with their dogs Harley and Layla.
Myles was an active member of Kezar Falls Assembly of God, involved with Sunday School, Prayer meeting and Bible Studies along with the annual VBS program. Myles had an active prayer life and kept a list of those he prayed for.
Myles was predeceased by his great grandfather Everett Holser and his grandmother Elizabeth Holser. He was also predeceased by his beloved father David Myles Garland I.
He is survived by his Bride Kelsey and his Mother, Sandra and by his step father Reginald Plummer
Myles is also survived by his nieces and nephew of his heart Katelyn, Alexandra and Sean Wood
