Kathyanne J. Duarte, 59, of New Bedford died November 22, 2018 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Beverly M. (Adams) Michaud and Donald Duarte, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was a licensed practical nurse who enjoyed taking care of others.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Jessica Santos and her husband David of New Bedford and Samantha Panageas and her companion Franklin Steeves of Meriden, CT; her fiancé, Peter Callaghan of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Timothy Hughes and Patrick Hughes, both of New Bedford; a sister, Rosemary "Judy" L'Etoile of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Adelle Santos and Jocelyn Steeves; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Caleb Santos and the sister of the late Thomas Hughes, Donald Cardoza and Michael Cardoza.
Her visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 1st from 2-6 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
