Louis J. Ruccolo of Medford died on Sunday, November 25, at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. Raised and educated in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Michele and Adelina (Meoli) Ruccolo. Louis graduated from Cambridge Rindge & Latin School. He worked as a buyer in the construction industry, and as a Civil Engineer for the City of Medford, where he lived for over 60 years.
Louis was the beloved husband of Patricia (Kelley) Ruccolo, and the devoted father of Michele Giacalone and her husband Angelo of Florida, Paula Ruccolo and her husband George Fadis of Woburn, and Julie Tyman and her husband Michael of Burlington. He was the loving grandfather of Carissa, Bianca, Eleni and Louie, loving great grandfather of Bella, and dear brother of the late Esther.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, November 28 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Louis's name to a charity of One's choice.
