Barbara A. Devlin, age 86, of Woburn formerly of Boston's North End passed away sudden and unexpectedly, November 22, 2018, at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Born in Boston she was one of five daughters of the late Zefferino and Carmela (Ciangiullo) Cerqua.
Barbara worked for thirty years as a scheduling coordinator at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She loved to travel with family and friends. Stowe, Vermont was one of her most favorite destinations. Her greatest joy was her family and nothing made her happier than being together with her family. She was a talented cook and loved to host the holidays making sure everyone was well fed and comfortable at her home. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.
Barbara is survived by her devoted children; Kathleen Vitello and her husband Joseph of Norfolk, James M. Devlin, Jr. and his fiancé Sharon Sampson of Auburn, Wendy Moules and her husband Joseph of Billerica. She was the loving grandmother of Marissa Mirenda and her husband Jesse, Vanessa Tocci and her husband Jared, Cody Moules and his wife Kelsy, Tyler Moules, Cally Moules and Katie Devlin. The loving great grandmother of Lacy, Madison, J.J., and Gerard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her late parents, Barbara is sadly predeceased by her sisters; Gilda Vultaggio, Agnes Alexander, Cora Peterson and Susan Antonino. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN Friday, November 30th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Margaret Church, 109 Winn St., Burlington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
