Grace Ann Capraro-Butts passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice early Friday morning. She was 56. Born in Boston, Grace lived most of her life in Medford. She was a loving wife, mother daughter, sister, aunt and an awesome friend to many. A graduate of Wilfred Academy, Grace worked as a hairdresser for many years. She had friends everywhere and anywhere and loved to travel with her husband John and family. The life of the party, Grace enjoyed music and having fun with family and friends. She was also a great cook who looked forward to having people over the house. She was devoted to her husband, daughter, father and her sister Pietrina and their families.
The beloved wife of John A. Butts, she was a loving mother to Brianna Butts of Medford. The dear daughter of Joseph F. Capraro and the late Mary (Ferullo), she was the cherished sister of Pietrina A. Capraro- Burbank and her husband William T. Burbank of Revere. She was a devoted aunt of Tiffany M. and Krystal R. Burbank. The dear sister-in-law of Michael Butts and his fiancé Kim Swan, Debbie Butts and daughter-in-law of the late Betty (Palmacci) Butts, Grace was also a devoted aunt to Devin Butts.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, November 28th at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, 3 – 8 PM.
