Worcester- Doris O. LaJeunesse, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She is survived by three sisters Audrey Fitch and her husband Paul of West Brookfield, Elinor Sundeen of Kittanning, PA, Nancy Mattress and her husband Bill of Lakeland, FL; two sister in laws Florene and June LaJeunesse, one brother in law Henry Cooper and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers Joseph LaJeunesse and Herbie LaJeunesse and one sister Joyce Cooper.
Doris was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph A. and Doris (Dunn) LaJeunesse. She graduated from Commerce High School and became the accounts receivable manager at Cape Cod Hospital. She was a member of the Dennis Gardening club, enjoyed going to the theatre on the Cape, and loved to travel.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:00am in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
