WORCESTER - Kasandra Iris Cruz, 25, died Monday, November 19, 2018 in UMass/Memorial Medical Center with family at her side.
She leaves her father, Nelson Cruz, Sr.; her mother, Carmen Ortiz and her fiancé Jason Arnold; 4 brothers, Isaiah Cruz, Nelson Cruz, Jr., Jesus Cruz and Juan Cruz; her sister and best friend, Maritza Cruz, all of Worcester; her paternal grandfather, Thomas Cruz of New Jersey; her paternal grandmother, Norma Cordero of Worcester; her maternal grandparents, Reynaldo Santiago and his wife Maritza Antuna, both of Worcester; 2 nephews, Ashton Cruz and Noel Gonzales; a niece, Naylanie Sanchez; a step-brother, Miguel Ortiz and 2 step-sisters, Jessiana Lopez and Brianna Baillargeon, her godmother, Elizabeth Stewart, all of Worcester; uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
She was born in Worcester on April 2, 1993, and attended North High School. She lived here all her life. Kasandra was greatly loved by her family and her many friends.
Visiting hours will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Monday, November 26, in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral home, 340 School St., Webster. A service of Holy Eucharist will follow at 11:30 AM in the Church of the Reconciliation, 5 North Main Street, Webster.
