Antao J. Soares (67) of Brockton died November 17th in the Brockton Health Center. He was the husband of Gail A. Monteiro Soares.
He was born in Sao Vicente, Cabo Verde son of the late Joaquim Antao and Margarita (Lopes) Soares. Antao was a hard working man of many talents. He was an expert mechanic in the boat shipping industry and loved classic music.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Junior Soares of Cabo Verde, 2 daughters, Leila and Ruth Soares both of Cabo Verde, 6 brothers, Antonino Matias of Holland, Florencio Soares of France, Silvester Soares of Portugal, Alcides, Daniel and Jorge Soares both of Cabo Verde, a sister Maria Soares also of Cabo Verde, many nieces and nephews.
Following Cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family.
