Grace L. (Brickhill) Souza, 99, of Westport died Friday, November 16, 2018 at The Oaks, New Bedford. She was wife of the late Joseph E. Souza.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late George and Mary V. (Sellers) Brickhill, she moved to Westport in 1952. Prior to retirement, she worked in the admission office at Truesdale Hospital, the credit office at St. Anne's Hospital and also worked as a secretary at Elbe File and Binder. Mrs. Souza was a foster parent to several children. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Ascension. She also enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include 3 sons: William M. "Bill" Souza of Westport and Robert J. "Bob" Souza of Laurel, DE; a daughter: Linda L. Silvia of Dartmouth; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late John Souza and David Souza and grandmother of the late Lori and Ryan.
Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
