Christina Ogren Bigelow, 77 years old, passed away on Monday. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Wilbur H. Bigelow, Jr.
Christina, or Chris as she was known, was born and raised in Melrose, Massachusetts, the eldest of six children. She moved to Ledyard with Wilbur in 1964 where they raised their two children, Mark and Scott.
Chris was a gifted sewer, knitter and creative craftswoman. She delighted her friends and family with her unique and personalized gifts. She voraciously embraced new hobbies and her interests included photography, doll collecting and even owned several show cats and dogs.
She will be dearly missed by her family as she joins her two sons in heaven
