Obituary

Paul L. Pizzi, 62, of Wrentham formerly of Franklin died November 13th in his home following a brief illness. He was the husband of Jean M. (Yadisernia) Pizzi for the past 38 years.

Born in Cambridge, May 19, 1956, the son of Fannie (Grici) Pizzi of Franklin and the late Mario Pizzi, Paul had lived for most of his life in Franklin before moving to Wrentham.

He was a 1974 graduate of Franklin High School. Paul had owned and operated P&M Painting for over 40 years.

He enjoyed fishing, farming, and watching old westerns. He loved animals and above all, his family. He had the ability to find the humor of any situation and make friends wherever he went.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children, Michael Pizzi of Wrentham, Rachel Kalalas and her husband Christopher of Norton and Gina Tvelia and her husband Ryan of Wrentham.

He was the grandfather of Vincent Kalalas and Gianni Tvelia.

He is also survived by his sister Jo-Ann Cleary and her husband Rick of Franklin, and his nephews Kevin and Keith Cleary. He also leaves behind his cousin, but more like a brother, Bob Pizzi of Yarmouth.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, November 17th at Luciano’s, Rte. 1, Wrentham, from 11:30-2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place. Memphis, TN 38105 or the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave. Boston, MA 02130.

As stated in The Godfather, “Because a man who doesn’t spend time with his family can never be a real man” and if anyone knew Paul, they would know he was the man.
