Beatrice (Santos) Lima, age 90 of Swansea and formerly of Westport, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 8, 2018 at the Country Gardens Health & Rehab. Center in Swansea. Born in Fall River, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Lima and the daughter of the late Amos Santos and Evelyn (Correira) Santos. Prior to retiring, Beatrice worked as a folder for the former Laura Curtain Co. in Fall River.
She is survived by her sister: Almarinda “Alma” Blais; her two brothers: John “Sharky” Santos and Amos Oliveira; many nieces & nephews. Beatrice was the mother of the late Kevin Joseph Lima, the sister of the late Manuel “Manny”, Antone “Sixteen”, Noel “Sunny”, Alexandrina “Lillian”, Irene, and Georgina “Jerry”, and the longtime companion of the late John Costa.
Beatrice’s funeral arrangements were under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River, MA.
