Emily M. (Upton) Lorino, a 19 year resident of Stoneham and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eterrnal life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at The Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. She was 75 years of age.
Emily was born in Boston on June 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Joseph Upton and Emily M. (Herring) Upton. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated at St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from high school. Emily enjoyed gardening at her home in Stoneham but most of all in her life was the love she had for her husband, children and grandchildren.
Emily is the beloved wife of 42 years to Anthony J. "Tony" Lorino. She is the devoted mother of James Fitzpatrick and his wife Sheila, Jonathan Lorino and his wife Danielle and the late Boston Police Officer Warren Fitzpatrick. She is the loving Nana to James Fitzpatrick Jr. and Molly Fitzpatrick. She is the beloved sister of Mel Upton, Maureen Doherty, Blanche Demling, Ruth Capraro and the late Margie Fitzpatrick, Herbert Upton, Joseph Upton, Charles Upton and Jocko Upton. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Emily's Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, November 17, 2018 at 10 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial is private. THERE ARE NO FUNERAL HOME VISITING HOURS.
