In East Taunton, George R. Medas, Age 88, passed away in his home while surrounded by his loving family on November 9, 2019. George is survived by his wife Judith (White) Medas of East Taunton. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late George & Laura (Machado Daroach) Medas. George was educated in Taunton schools. He served his country honorably for twenty two years in the U.S, Air Force. George was a member of the VFW, he enjoyed dancing, fishing camping, playing cards, traveling and dining out. He leaves his children; George Michael Medas of Ohio and Lynn Hester of Florida, his siblings; Laurentina Jackson and Robert Medas both of Middleboro and the late David Medas. George also leaves his two grandchildren. Funeral home visitation will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, November 15th from 9:30-11am. Burial will be at Bourne National Cemetery at 12:45pm.
