Rosemary A. Duhamel, a resident of Atkinson, New Hampshire, passed away at her home on Saturday morning, November 10, 2018. She was 91 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on March 31, 1927, she was the beloved daughter of the late Aurel and Rose A. (Fallon) Duhamel. Rosemary was educated in the Lawrence Public School system and was a graduate of St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in Lowell. She had been employed by the E. N. Rogers VA Medical Center in Bedford, Massachusetts, until her retirement in 1982. In her spare time, Rosemary enjoyed reading and watching the Red Sox and Patriots. She also enjoyed traveling. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving brothers; Edward C. Duhamel of Atkinson, New Hampshire and John Duhamel of Salem, New Hampshire, nieces and nephews; Sharon Broady of Salem, New Hampshire, Jay Duhamel of Valdez, Alaska, Kathy Cvelbar of Murietta, California and Mark Duhamel of Rochester, New Hampshire.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, prior to the service from 9 AM to 10AM. Interment will be held in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
