Obituary

Philip G. Lefebvre., 78, a longtime resident of Medway, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Rafferty) Lefebvre since 1972.

Born in Cambridge on October 22, 1940, he was the son of the late J. Gerard and Gertrude (Callahan) Lefebvre.

Mr. Lefebvre graduated from the former Cambridge High and Latin and proudly served in the Navy on a destroyer during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Before his retirement, Mr. Lefebvre worked as an accountant and real estate agent for many years.

He enjoyed canoeing and also volunteered at VA Hospitals and the Medway Senior Center.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three brothers, Joseph Lefebvre of Easton, MD, Albert Lefebvre of Rindge, NH and Leonard Lefebvre of Arlington, two sisters, Jean Ward of Tewksbury and Catherine Abraham of Waltham and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Robert Lefebvre.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday, November 15 at 9:15 a.m. from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Medway Senior Center, 76 Oakland St., Medway, MA 02053.
