Veronica M. (Mikalop) Cenedella, 91, of Medway, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Arthur Cenedella who died in 1988.
Born in Medway on September 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Victoria (Sidlauskas) Mikalop.
Mrs. Cenedella was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School. Before her retirement, she worked in the courtesy booth at the former Fernandez Supermarket in Medway for many years.
Mrs. Cenedella was active in the Medway Boosters and was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court St. Joseph. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, trips to the casino and was an avid football fan.
She is survived by her son Peter Cenedella and his wife Joy Ann of Medway, her daughter Christine Larocque and her husband Moe of Bellingham, four granddaughters, Michelle, Ashley, Stephanie and Danielle, five great-grandchildren, Miranda, Devon, Connor, Henry and Bryce and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased two brothers, Frank and Joseph Mikalop.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Saturday, November 10 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 - 7 p.m.
