Donna Marie DiDonato, 62
Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Donna Marie (Crandall) DiDonato, 62, of Mansfield, Massachusetts, passed away on November 4, 2018. She was a fighter and had been working to get a diagnosis for an aneurysm for two years. She urged everyone to get regular check-ups and to be informed about family medical history.

Born in Franklin, Massachusetts on October 2, 1956 to the late Frank and Myrtle Crandall, Donna graduated from Franklin High School in 1974 and attended the Academy of Design in Tampa, Florida. She resided in Florida for many years.

A loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother and caring friend, Donna will be deeply missed. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, walking the beach to collect seashells, working on crafts and skillful jewelry making. She was creative, kind, and funny. She had a beautiful soul.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband of 17 years Peter DiDonato, sister Betty (Crandall) Johnson and her husband John, sister-in-law Paula Crandall, brother Robert Crandall and his wife Loretta DeLucia, brother Steven Crandall and his wife Marie, brother Jim Crandall and his wife Mary, mother-in-law Barbara DiDonato, sister-in-law Deborah Valanzola and her husband Albano, sister-in-law Gail Hoyt and her husband Jon, brother-in-law David DiDonato and his wife Mary, and brother-in-law Joseph DiDonato. She also leaves behind her Godchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Allan Crandall and sisters-in-law Christina Gentile and Annie DiDonato.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Elks Club, 1077 Pond St., Franklin, MA.
