Obituary


Lillian M. (Rondeau) Benoit age, 96 a lifelong resident of Brockton, died November 4, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest E. Benoit for over 65 years. She is survived by her daughter Elaine and her husband Ray Peckham of West Bridgewater, three treasured grandchildren: Laurie and her husband Chris Lacy of East Bridgewater, Stacey and her husband Brian Slack of Lakeville and Chris Peckham and Sarah of Easton. Lillian adored her 9 great grandchildren: Jake, Emily, Sam, Natalie, Sarah, Madison, Mia, Annabelle & Callan. Lillian was also the sister of the late Albert Rondeau & Lionel Rondeau of Brockton.

Lillian was born in Brockton a daughter of the late Damase and Blanche Rondeau and remained a lifelong resident. A graduate of Brockton High School and a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Brockton, Lillian was devoted to the care of her family and home.

Lillian was a treasured friend to all who were privileged to know her and will be greatly missed. We are also grateful for the compassionate care given Lillian at Life Care West Bridgewater during her time there and for the time spent by family and friends who visited her often.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rt. 123) Brockton on Wednesday 4-7pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30am for a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10:30am. Burial will be private at a later date.
