STOCKDALE, TX ~ Daniel J. Laughlin died at home on Sunday, October 7, 2018 with his wife by his side. Born in Springfield, he graduated from Holyoke Catholic High School. He then completed Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees at Western New England College School of Engineering. He was last employed by Westinghouse Nuclear Services as a Project Manager. He could draw, juggle, had terrible “line luck”, loved the Red Sox and his greatest talent was making people laugh. He leaves behind his wife, Teresa Brenton; his mother, Dona “Pat” Laughlin; his sister, Kathleen Laughlin; his four brothers, Thomas Laughlin, Andrew Laughlin, Stephen Laughlin and William Laughlin; his three children, Michael Laughlin, Courtney Guevara and Jesse Peyman; his four grandchildren, Caroline Guevara, Eli Peyman, Grace Peyman and Nathan Guevara; along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Martell Laughlin; his granddaughter, Abigail Peyman; and his two sisters-in-law, Laurie Laughlin and Karen Laughlin. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning, November 10, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (413-532-9806). The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will follow the prayer service at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
