Charles B. Clark, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, GA.
A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, GA.
Mr. Clark was born December 24, 1940, in Montgomery, AL to the late J. Bernard and Nancy Goins Clark. He was a 1958 graduate of Montgomery Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master's Degree in Science Education from Auburn University. His teaching career began in Tuskegee, AL. During his 32 years of teaching at Fitzgerald High School, he received many honors and awards among them being named Teacher of the Year for the Fitzgerald City School System and Star Teacher three times. He was a devoted member of St. Williams Catholic Church serving in many leadership positions, including the Finance and Building Committees.
He is survived by his brother: John G. Clark (Cheryl) of Lilburn, GA and J. Richard Clark (Suzanne) of Atlanta, GA; four nephews and three grand nephews and one grand niece. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, the Rev. Bernard Clark.
A Rosary Service in Fitzgerald will be announced at a later date.
