FALL RIVER… Germaine A. (Francoeur) Sirois, 94, of Fall River passed away November 1, 2018 at her home.
She was the widow of Joseph L. Sirois.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Delina (Yelle) Francoeur and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mrs. Sirois was a communicant of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church and the former St. Bernadette Church. She had worked as a Clerk at the former Bradlees Department Store for many years. Along with being a member of the Woman’s Guild, St. Anne’s Sodality and Retired Retail Clerk Club, she enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and Bingo.
Survivors include her children: Donald Sirois and his wife Susanne of Fall River, Roland Sirois of Somerset and Claire Dion and her husband Edward of Fall River; her siblings: Gertrude Chouinard of Fall River, Noela Dachman of Sauk Village, IL, Arthur Francoeur of Fall River and Donald Francoeur of Fall River; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, Nov. 8 at 9 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Fall River. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5-8 PM.
