Obituary

NATICK: Helen M. Duchaney, 95, life-long resident of Natick passed away Wednesday, October 31st after a period of declining health in Oak Knoll, Framingham.
Mrs. Duchaney was born on July 20, 1923 to the (late) William and Katherina (Melynchuk) Simons in Natick, MA. She was a graduate of the 1941 class at Natick High School, where she was a two-time National Honor Roll recipient. Following high school graduation, she married (late) Robert N. Duchaney and went to work in payroll for the U.S. Navy/ U.S. Army and Massachusetts National Guard.
Helen was a member of the St. Linus parish, enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting and time spent with her family.
Helen is survived by her son, Robert Duchaney and his wife Valerie of Mills, her grandchildren: Nicole Macleod and her husband Christopher of Mendon and Christopher Duchaney and his wife Willow of Easton; her great-grandchildren: Madison, Christopher and Kahlan.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, November 13th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Linus Parish, 119 Hartford Street, Natick, MA 01570 followed by interment in Dell Park Cemetery, 163 Pond Street, Natick, MA 01760.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your local animal shelter in Helen’s name.
