Evelyn Dorsi of Medford died on Saturday, November 3, at Winchester Hospital. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Balestrine) Dorsi. Evelyn worked for many years as a seamstress at Lourie Sports Wear in Boston, and was a proud member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union.
Evelyn was the dear sister of Rita Davis of Medford, and the late Anna Pisani, Mary Kilroy, and Annette and Lena Dorsi. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, November 7 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Tuesday, November 6, from 4 through 8 PM.
