Gloria (Araujo) Leal, age 88, of East Taunton, entered into eternal life on Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel J. Leal.
Born in Taunton, MA on February 25, 1930, she was a loving daughter of the late Gregory and Conceicao (Melin) Araujo.
A lifelong Taunton resident, Gloria was educated in Taunton schools. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and helped with the operation of Leal and Sons Cranberries in East Taunton.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed walking and taking care of her chickens.
She is survived by her devoted children: Helen Leal of Raynham and Daniel J. Leal of Taunton. She was the dear sister of Lee Lopes-Byan of Taunton and the late John Araujo, Gregory Araujo, Lillian Carvalho and Delta Silvia. She is also survived by her cherished 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
